Fabulous Xi Chapter
We, at Kappa Sigma, have always prided ourselves on the variety of our accomplishments. The "Fabulous" Xi Chapter of Kappa Sigma is the largest and most celebrated chapter of Kappa Sigma. For three years, we have held the Chancellor's award of Excellence for holding the highest grade point average. Our social calendar is incredible, starting off in the fall with Float Trip and culminating in our annual Row Week Party, which is unmatched in size and enjoyment. Our efforts on the intramural fields awarded us the overall intramural sports award for 2008. This is the third year in a row we have won the overall intramural sports award. We work hard to place Kappa Sigma in the spotlight of campus involvement. These efforts are visible in the Vice President and Treasurer of Associated Student Government, President of Ducks Unlimited, Pre-Med, Pre-Dental Club, White Ribbon, National Wild Turkey Federation, and numerous other campus leaders who are Kappa Sigmas. Our philanthropy activities include work for the Arkansas Regional Organ Recovery Association, Seven Hills Homeless Shelter, Washington Regional Medical Center, Evergreen Cemetery, and the Adopt-A-Highway program. This past year we hosted the first annual MADD Relay Race, which raised over 5,000 dollars for the MADD organization. We diligently strive to instill a balanced approach to fraternity life which has earned us the right to say we have won the Interfraternity Council Award of Excellence more than other chapter at the University of Arkansas since the creation of the award.
