FarmHouse
Welcome to the University of Arkansas! The Arkansas Chapter of FarmHouse Fraternity was founded on the University of Arkansas campus on October 2, 1954. The objective of FarmHouse is building the whole man: Intellectually, Spiritually, Socially/Morally, and Physically. We have a brotherhood that stands above that of any other fraternity on this campus. FarmHouse men are commonly referred to as “The Gentlemen on Campus” due to our chivalry and southern charm. FarmHouse offers a place where the college man can grow in many aspects of his character. From our numerous social functions such as our annual “A Roll in the Hay” Hayride, “Settin’ the Woods on Fire” Campout, Boondock Row, Sunburst Rose Formal, and Block Party to our community service and philanthropy projects such as our annual FarmHouse Fish Fry, Adopt-A-Highway program, and various work with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Lifestyles, and Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, FarmHouse offers vast opportunities for giving back to the community and having a good time. It is also a great place for aspiring to academic excellence through our study halls, study room, designated quiet hours, and mentoring and tutoring from older members in the house. FarmHouse promotes leadership qualities through its officer positions within the fraternity and many of our members are leaders of outside organizations such as Biological Engineering Students Club, Crop Soil and Environmental Science Club, IFC, Ag Business Club, Arkansas FFA, Arkansas 4-H, and Poultry Science Club just to name a few. Most of all, FarmHouse is a home away from home. Feel free to stop by our house and get to know us on a personal level.
