Sigma Nu

Gamma Upsilon Chapter

The Gamma Upsilon chapter of Sigma Nu has been a tradition at the University of Arkansas since 1904 and thrives upon its ideals of Love, Honor and Truth. Gamma Upsilon is one of the most respected Sigma Nu chapters in the nation, continually ranking in the top five among all other chapters. Sigma Nu at the U of A actively participates in Intramurals, University events and lends its services in and around the Fayetteville community. As a Sigma Nu we hold ourselves to higher standards and strive to be the best in all aspects of Greek Life as well as academics. There have been over 2,500 Gamma upsilon initiates, who give us a strong alumni base, and with some 250 chapters between the United States and Canada, men of honor are continuously being shaped into the leaders of tomorrow.

To put it simply...
It's about our values;
It's about our tradition.

To develop ethical leaders inspired by the principles of Love, Honor, and Truth. To foster the personal growth of each man's Mind, Heart, and Character. To perpetuate lifelong friendships and commitment to the fraternity.
